Schaefer, Elaine (Marriage - 23 Aug. 1950)

Miss Elaine Schaefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Schaefer of Abbotsford, route 1, and George Rueden, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George Rueden, Sr., of Dorchester, route 1, exchanged marriage vows at St. John’s Catholic church at Wurtzburg Wednesday, Aug. 23, Rev. Gacian Mueller officiating. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Benny Olson of Wausau, the bride’s cousins.

The bride was attired in a navy blue suit with white accessories and her bouquet consisted of red roses and white carnations. Her attendant wore a gray suit with white accessories and her bouquet also consisted of red roses and white carnations.

A reception for relatives was held at the Skylight Steak House at Corinth.

The couple will make a wedding trip in September. They are at home on a farm east of Abbotsford, Wis.
